“Vacant Storefronts and Visions for Neighborhood Revitalization: Challenges & Solutions”
The UWS SOS Town Hall Meeting, held at the NY Society for Ethical Culture, featured presentations by five New York elected officials speaking on the problem of vacant storefronts in NYC, and proposals have made, or initiatives they are currently undertaking to address the problem. The presentations were followed by a brief panel discussion, based on questions from the audience of almost 200 Upper West Side residents, local retailers and brokers, and community leaders.
